Charles Watkins is owner, editor, writer, photographer, and journalist for Basin & Range Magazine. In addition to Basin & Range Magazine, Charles was also the founding editor for Topline Magazine, which he launched in 2012 and guided for 3 years as a leading source for outdoor sports and lifestyle news. He also contributed written and photographic freelance works to There and Back magazine. His career also includes 9 trips to the continent of Antarctica working for the US Antarctic Program where he contributed his IT experience towards the cause of scientific discovery. Charles earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Metropolitan University of Denver and is originally from ABQ, New Mexico. He now lives in the Denver, Colorado area.
