Roots Rock, Bluegrass, and Mountain Music come to Jam at 2016 Hootenanny
Breckenridge Brewery recently announced that Colorado hometown favorites, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, will headline for the brewery’s annual anniversary celebration at its new Littleton, CO location. The July 9th Hootenanny marks Breckenridge’s twenty-sixth year in the craft brewing scene, and the all-day event features live music on two stages, fresh craft beer, and barbecue smoked on-site.
“Coming off of a sold out show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this weekend, Big Head Todd and the Monsters are an amazing addition to our line up,” says Todd Thibault, the brewery’s Culture Czar. “Members of the band attended Columbine High School together, which is less than five miles from here. To have a band of their caliber, with such close ties to this area, is really exciting.”
Big Head Todd and the Monsters join the previously announced line up of Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Larry & Jenny Keel (accompanied by Drew Emmitt and Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon), and Head for the Hills on the main stage. The beer garden stage showcases Colorado musicians Zolopht, Grant Farm, We Dream Dawn, Sweet Lillies, and Caribou Mountain Collective.
As in years past, the Breckenridge Brewery Hootenanny benefits Conscious Alliance, a Colorado-based non-profit that fights hunger across the nation through their extraordinary grassroots food collection and hunger awareness programs.
